ABOUT TEI |
TEI, the preeminent association of in-house tax professionals worldwide,
was organized in 1944. Its members are chief tax officers and other corporate and business employees who are responsible for the tax affairs of
the leading companies in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia.
(Attorneys and public/chartered accountants engaged in private practice are
ineligible for membership.) TEI’s 7,000 members represent more than 2800
companies. There are 56 chapters, including chapters in Canada (4), Europe,
Asia, and Latin America. TEI is truly international in scope, with more than
18 percent of its members located outside the United States. (Since its formation in 2005, the Asia Chapter has grown to 128 members.)
