VERENA BOGHIU-MENZI
RESUME
The elements of water, fire and light are inspiring her again
and again. Strong colors and light effects are moving and
fascinating the observer. And that is what she always
wanted her paintings to do: to stimulate the lust for life.
Verena Boghiu-Menzi attended the Art College (Textil- und
Kunstgewerbeschule) in Zurich, with the renowned artist
Johannes Itten.
She showed her oil works at innumerable personal and
joint-expositions in Brazil, Germany, USA and Switzerland.
Many of them are being held worldwide in private
collections. She was awarded with a significant number of
gold medals and other prices for her artistic work.
During different exchange programs with Brazil, Verena
exhibited some of her works in Amsterdam at the World
Trade Center, in Casablanca, in Rabat, Morocco and in
Revin, France. She also exhibited in other major cities of
Brazil, in some of the most important museums.
